It’s been too long…
Today I realized that I’ve been enjoying some of my Amazing Clubs beers of the month even more than usual. Yesterday I tried this Maiden’s Bluebery Ale from Sherwood Forest, a Marlborough, MA brewery. I never go into a fruity beer with high hopes, but I’ve gotta be honest, this was f’ing good. It easily ranks up there in one of my top 5 fruit-beer experiences.
The blueberry was prominent, but in an enjoyable sense and without overwhelming. It was crisp and super refreshing. And don’t expect this to be just a dessert beer. I nommed it with a light pasta dish and it really worked!
